Enjoy a 45 minutes Air-conditioned Coach ride from
Montego Bay through Jamaica's scenic countryside, over mountains,
through valley's, villages and lush tropical foliage.
An Expert Tour Guide will explain the details of the tropical plants
and trees you encounter during your trip. You pass through sugarcane,
pineapple, coffee and banana plantations. Many people live in the interior, so you will travel through a number
of little villages.
Upon arriving at the Hilton Plantation Pavilion House, you will be served a delicious Jamaican Country Style Breakfast, served in the comfort of the plantation pavilion house.
After a sumptuous breakfast, enjoy a short walk down the lazy country road to St. Leonards where the students at the Village Basic School
(during the school year) will entertain you with their charming songs
Then you will be invited to walk
the lazy country road to the village of St. Leonards which is
only a stone's throw away.
See cane juice extracted from fresh sugar cane, sample FRESH cut pineapple right in the field.

A DELICIOUS, ROASTED PIG,
JAMAICAN BUFFET LUNCHEON
will be awaiting you when you return to the Plantation House. Complete
with complimentary Rum Punches and served with Island specialties (other
meat/fish dishes on request) in the true Jamaican tradition and hospitality.
The 60 pound pig is prepared and roasted in our own Jamaican brick
oven right next to the Plantation House, and will be served with 12 exotic
Jamaican vegetables prepared in the plantation kitchen. Hot and
spicy peppers will be served on request only.
Following the luncheon, you will stroll around
or relax on the front porches with your dessert and coffee and listen
to the delightful melodic music played just for you by our very
own plantation Calypso Band.
Even though you may not be ready to depart we try to schedule our return
trip so you will be
back at your hotel by "Tea time", so you may have a quick swim or watch
another beautiful sunset. BUT, the return trip is also a part of your
day's adventure.
We take you back along the border of the famous and sometimes foreboding
Cockpit Country, land of the Maroons. Breathtaking views of deep valley
floors, all but inaccessible due to the sheer cliff like mountains surrounding
them. Hear the fascinating history of the Maroons, descendants of the
runaway slaves.
The end of a perfect day, but only the beginning of a beautiful
memory.
Stop by the 'barn' and meet our dressmakers then choose your favourite
fabric, get you measurement taken and have your dress, shirts, shorts,
etc. "tailormade" and you order will be ready before you leave.
